At a virtual launch, Honor announced two brand new 5G smartphones, Honor Play 6T and Honor Play 6T Pro. These form part of Honor’s Play series and are the successors to the Play 5 and 5T series.
Both these smartphones are powered by MediaTek Dimensity processors and have some interesting new features at an affordable price.

China Mobile is the world largest 5G network and customer base supplier.
In the last quarter of 2021, the company increased its 5G user base by a staggering 50 million users, bringing its total user base to more than 200 million users on its 5G network.
Average revenue per user increased to 48,8 Yuan, an increase of 3% over its 2020 figure of 47,4 Yuan. China Mobile attributes this increase to customers upgrading to 5G as well as the value created from integrated operations.»Read full story

On the Chinese platform Weibo, Vivo has teased its first foldable phone, rumoured to be called Vivo X Fold.

Samsung’s 17 March event featured the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53, the latest two smartphones in its new Galaxy A series line-up.
Samsung has now officially announced the launch of its Galaxy A73, the premium device of the A series, aimed at the upper mid-range sector, appealing to both consumer and business markets alike.
The new Galaxy A73 5G is due for release on 22nd April 2022. This smartphone features a large 6,7 inch Super AMOLED panel with full HD+ resolution, an Infinity-O display and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A72 in comparison has a 90Hz refresh rate.»Read full story
