Samsung Galaxy S23 FE – Flagship features at a mid-range price

Samsung has once again hit the market with a bang by launching the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the successor of the Galaxy S21 FE.  This smartphone offers flagship features at a mid-range price, demonstrating Samsung’s commitment to providing high-quality devices at affordable prices, thereby bringing advanced technology within reach of a wider audience.

The new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE follows in the design footsteps of the S23 series and has three floating cameras on the back.  The frame is aluminium with curved edges and is not only visually appealing but also comfortable to hold and easy to grip, measuring just 8,2mm thick and weighing a light 209g.  Like the rest of the S23 series, this new smartphone is IP68-rated for water and dust protection and is protected with Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE boasts a stunning display featuring a 6,4” FHD10+ AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120Hz and a maximum brightness of 1450 nits.  With its vibrant colours and high resolution, users can enjoy immersive visuals and its large screen size further enhances the viewing experience, making it ideal for multimedia consumption. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

One of the key highlights of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Fe is its upgraded camera system.  This device comes with a 50Mp primary camera with PDAF and OIS, complemented by an 8Mp telephoto lens, also with PDAF and OIS as well as 3x optical zoom.  The third camera is a 12Mp ultra-wide lens.  In the front, there is a 10Mp camera for selfies and video calls.

There are lots of camera features including the Nightography Mode that allows users to take clear selfies and portraits after dark and the Pro Mode that allows control of shutter speed, aperture, ISO and lots more.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is equipped with last year’s flagship chipset, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 for select regions whilst other regions will get a Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset.  These two chips are very similar in performance and have already proven their capabilities in providing a smooth and efficient user experience.  Coupled with ample RAM of 8GB and storage options of 128GB and 256GB, users can expect seamless multitasking and an abundance of space for their favourite apps, games and media files.

Not only does the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE deliver on performance and display, but it also offers long-lasting battery life.  This device is powered by a 4500mAh battery that can easily endure a full day of heavy usage.  Additionally, it supports fast charging of 25W which can generate a 50% charge in 30 minutes.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE runs on the latest Android 13 operating system, ensuring access to the latest features and security updates. The device is also equipped with Samsung's One UI 5.1, which provides a user-friendly and intuitive interface for seamless navigation and customization.

Colours available for this device are Mint, Cream, Graphite, Purple, Indigo and Tangerine.
