Oppo K10X – A new mid-ranger with a 64Mp camera

Oppo has just introduced its newest mid-ranger, the Oppo K10X, packed to the brim with fantastic features.

This smartphone comes with a large 6,59” FHD LCD display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. Resolution for this screen is 1080×2412 pixels.

The headline attraction for this new device is its 64Mp main camera with an f/1.79 aperture, paired with a 2Mp macro and a 2Mp depth sensor. This triple camera set-up has HDR, panorama and an LED flash.
In the front the selfie camera is 16Mp with HDR and video footage at 30 fps.

Oppo K10X is well positioned in the mid-tier price bracket to offer exceptional camera performance at a very affordable price, introducing relevant new camera features and applications to this all-important sector of the market.

New Huawei Mate 50 Series – Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, Satellite Texting & More

Huawei has just announced the launch of its newest flagship series – the Huawei Mate 50 Series, coming two years after the Mate 40 smartphones and a year after the P50 Pro was initially announced.

Huawei is all about innovation and the new Mate 50Pro has been launched with support for satellite messaging, a first for any consumer smartphone brand.

The Vanilla Mate 50, together with the Mate 50Pro and special edition Mate 50RS Porsche Design share the same high-end Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

The Vanilla Mate 50 base model design is quite similar to that of the Mate 40. This design encompasses a curved back panel with curved edges; however, the camera platform has been changed to feature a single circular housing, versus the previous “do-nut” circular housing, giving it a new bold and fresh appearance.

Huawei Nova 10z – Budget-beater with incredible cameras

Huawei has just launched the new Huawei Nova 10z, a budget smartphone with some great features, usually reserved for flagship smartphones.

Huawei Nova 10z is sleek and slim with an 89,3% screen to body ratio, giving the user a good immersive viewing experience. This smartphone is available in three stylish colourways of Black, Silver and Green.
The display size is huge, with a 6,6” LCD screen and a great 1080×2400 pixel resolution.

One of the highlights of this smartphone is the triple camera set-up on the rear. This device boasts a 64Mp main shooter with a f/1.9 lens, an 8Mp f/2.4 ultrawide-angle camera and a 2Mp macro unit.

Oppo Setting Its Sights on Market Share Growth in SA

Oppo entered the South African two years ago and has steadily increased its presence to arrive at a double-digit market share figure.

Oppo offers the South African consumer an affordable product with advantages of design, flash charging, photography, other features and collaboration.

Oppo’s Avashnee Moodley, Head of Marketing at Oppo South Africa stated “We at Oppo develop cutting-edge technology that is built for people, and we are aware that South Africans value features that are affordable”.
Moodley further stated that “When we launched locally, we were well aware of the difficulties and intense competition”.

Samsung Outlines its $5 Billion Green Strategy

Samsung has just unwrapped its new green strategy, outlining not only goals and timelines, but backing up its commitments with a 7 trillion won ($5 billion) investment plan between now and 2030.

Jong-Hee Han, Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung Electronics stated “The climate crisis is one of the greatest challenges of our times. The consequences of inaction are unimaginable and require the contribution of every one of us, including businesses and governments. Samsung is responding to the threats of climate change with a comprehensive plan that includes reducing emissions, new sustainability practices and the development of innovative technologies and products that are better for our planet”.

Samsung is targeting a bold net zero carbon emissions objective for its Device Experience (DX) Division by 2030. This division includes the consumer electronics business as well as its network and medical equipment division.

Launch of New Oppo A57s – Sleek and full of features

Oppo has been in the news lately with several new launches, with one of its newest being the arrival of its stunning A57s smartphone.

This smartphone is sleek and ever-so stylish and has a large 6,56” IPS LCD tear-drop notch screen, offering a HD+ resolution of 1612×720 pixels.

The display supports a 60Hz refresh rate, up to 600 nits of brightness as well as Panda glass protection. The screen to body ratio is a high 89,9% giving the user immersive viewing at its best.

Oppo A57s is powered by the Media Tek Helio G35 chip and runs on Android 12 OS as well as ColorOS 12,1.

Samsung launches Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro Tablet – Rugged and practical

Samsung has just launched a brand-new tablet, the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro. This tablet is designed for those who lead an outdoor lifestyle in business or leisure and want a rugged device that can function well in different environments.
